Dominic Kargbo Inspires Mighty Blackpool to Back-to-Back Wins

Mighty Blackpool FC secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Wilberforce Strikers FC in the Leone Rock Premier League 2025/2026 at the Kingtom-SLFA Academy, making it back-to-back wins after their previous 1-0 triumph against Stars Sports Academy. The Tiss Tass Boys showed confidence and control from the start, continuing their growing momentum in the league.
Dominic Kargbo (#10) was the standout performer, opening the scoring as early as the 5th minute before doubling the lead in the 46th minute to seal the win. First goals was assisted by Suliaman Massaquoi, whose influence in attack proved decisive. Kargbo’s clinical display earned him the Man of the Match award.
Wilberforce Strikers struggled to respond and failed to break through Blackpool’s solid defense.
The match saw a few cautions, with two Mighty Blackpool players and one Wilberforce player booked, but the hosts maintained composure to secure a clean sheet and all three points. Mighty Blackpool will now shift focus to their next crucial encounter as they prepare to face Port Authority in what promises to be another exciting fixture.
