Ray Boy emerges as Rap Rampage winner

Edward Macarthy who is popularly know as Ray Boy Blu has emerged as the winner of the Rap Rampage Cypher Season 1. Ray won with less than 1% of the all the combined scores, beating 6 other finalists to the 100million grand prize.
The competition which has gone on for over six months, saw dozens of rappers try different beats and concepts to show their lyrical ability. A five-week series finale of the show started on February 2nd, bringing together the top 7 finalists to contest for the prize money.
Ray has since received Le50million in cash and is guaranteed another Le50million in the form of investment in to his music career, through a one year record deal. CEO of Future Flip which are the organizers of the show, Mamoud Jalloh expressed his delight with the outcome of the show.
Ray Boy has since cashed his cheque and said he is excited to look forward to his career.
“I am so excited, I want to work hard on my music and continue to excel,” the rapper told SLIK TV in an exclusive interview.
