George Ngegba Leads ICC T20 Africa Bowling Chart
Sierra Leone’s George Edward Ngegba has climbed to the top of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Sub-Regional Qualifier C bowling chart after stellar performances in the first three matches in Abuja.
With an economy rate of 5.48, Ngegba took seven wickets in two innings, leading Sierra Leone to a win over Ivory Coast and a strong fight against Botswana. His efforts have cemented his status as a key player in the tournament.
Raymond Coker also impressed, claiming four wickets with an economy of 3.83, placing him fifth on the bowling chart.
The Patriots now prepare for a critical clash against Saint Helena at NCF Oval 1, aiming for a top-two finish to advance to the 2025 ICC Men’s T20 Africa Qualifiers alongside teams like Namibia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
This qualifier is the final step for teams seeking a spot in the 2025 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
