Jagaban Donates Over Le 1 Billion to APC Northwest Regional Office Extension

Flagbearer aspirant of the All People’s Congress (APC), Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, has donated Le 1,187,500,000 to support the extension and strengthening of the APC Northwest Regional Office, Bai Bureh Hall, in Port Loko District.
The donation was made on February 4, 2026, at Masiaka and is intended to fast-track renovation and expansion works at the party facility, which is expected to host the APC National Delegates Conference.
Speaking at the event, APC Port Loko District Chairman, Alie Summah, said the donation came at a critical time when the party is facing financial constraints. He assured party members that the funds would be used strictly for the intended purpose. Summah disclosed that the project, initially planned to take six months, is now expected to be completed within three months due to the size of the donation.
He thanked Jagaban and the Jagaban Movement for the support and called on other APC flagbearer aspirants and party members to contribute towards the project.
In his address, Jagaban said Sierra Leone needs urgent transformation and argued that strong financial backing is essential for political mobilization and rebuilding the APC ahead of the 2028 general elections. He said he has both the vision and the resources to return the party to power.
Jagaban called on APC stakeholders to make decisions that would strengthen party unity and improve its electoral chances. He pledged that if elected as flagbearer, he would unite all factions within the party, reject political cliques, and work inclusively with all party structures.
He also highlighted his family’s historical ties to the APC, noting his father’s role in the party and contribution to the election of Blama’s first Member of Parliament.
Jagaban concluded by urging Sierra Leoneans to maintain peace and avoid violence, describing himself as a peaceful leader committed to national unity and social harmony.
