Mbappé Trains with Real Madrid Amid Rape Allegation Reports
Kylian Mbappé was spotted training with Real Madrid on Tuesday, returning to work after recovering from injury. This session comes as Swedish media report that he is under investigation for an alleged rape incident in Stockholm following his visit last week.
Swedish broadcaster SVT has stated that Mbappé is “reasonably suspected” of the crime, referencing documents they obtained. While Swedish prosecutors confirmed they are investigating an alleged rape at a Stockholm hotel, they have not disclosed the suspect’s identity.
Mbappé has publicly dismissed the reports as “fake news,” with his representatives labeling them as “totally false and irresponsible.” In a social media post, he suggested a link between the Swedish reports and a legal hearing in Paris concerning unpaid wages with his former club, Paris Saint-Germain.
Later, his lawyer expressed that Mbappé was bewildered by the allegations, emphasizing that “a complaint does not make the truth, nor does it prove anything,” and added that she was uncertain if the complaint filed in Sweden involved him.
