Unopposed candidates secured several positions, including Francess Sally Bernard as Secretary General, Emmanuel Christian Thorli as Financial Secretary, and Paul Kamara, Desmond Tunde Coker, and Mohamed Abu Conteh as Public Relations Officer, Assistant Secretary General, and Organizing Secretary, respectively.
Regional leadership transitions went smoothly, with Alusine Rehme Wilson, Umaru Saidu Turay, Abu Bakarr Kargbo, and Bah Chernor Mohamed elected unopposed in the Northern and Southern Regions. However, the Eastern Region remains without representation.
As Morris Jr. begins his second term, he aims to advance sports journalism in Sierra Leone, promising growth and professionalism while addressing challenges in the sector.
