The second half saw continued tension and intensity, with bookings issued to Delvin David and Samuel Jide Conteh for Abacha City.

The match further descended into controversy in the 58th minute when multiple members of the Wilberforce Strikers’ technical team, including Head Coach Gibrila WooBay was shown a yellow card, Goalkeeper Coach Ibrahim Souri Mansaray, and Chairman Mohamed Samurah Sanu, were all sent off.
