Tenants Charged for Landlord’s Death

Dusu Daboh and Mariama Jawara made their first appearance in court before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of the Kabala Magistrate Court. They are accused of allegedly beating their landlord, Shekuba Kamara, to death.

The accused, Dusu Daboh and Mariama Jawara, are facing two charges: conspiracy and murder, under the laws of Sierra Leone.

During the court session, the prosecution presented initial evidence, outlining the alleged events leading to Shekuba Kamara’s death. This evidence will be further examined in the upcoming hearings.

Magistrate Hadiru Daboh denied bail to the accused, remanding them in prison. The case was adjourned to July 2nd, 2024, for further hearing.
