However, recent events, such as Mr. Kaikai’s alarming video threat to instigate conflict, underscore the urgency of these initiatives. His suspension following public outcry highlights a concerted effort to hold individuals accountable for their words and actions.
At a recent town hall meeting, President Bio addressed these concerns head-on, denouncing hate speech and reaffirming the party’s stance on unity. “We must not allow reckless words to define us,” he declared, emphasizing the role of political responsibility in nurturing a peaceful future for Sierra Leone.
