SLFA Unveils U20 National Team Coaching Staff
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the appointment of the national U20 technical team ahead of the WAFU U20 tournament in Liberia.
In a press release, the SLFA Executive Committee expressed their pleasure in revealing the new appointments, emphasizing the importance of this step in their commitment to nurturing young talent and ensuring that Sierra Leone is competitively represented on the regional stage.
The appointed technical team comprises experienced professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to guide the U20 squad to success. The team includes Mohamed Lamin Kamara as Head Coach, Ibrahim Sillah and Patrick Bangura as Assistant Coaches, Jeffrey Kabia as Goalkeeper Coach, Abdul Karim Bangura as Fitness Coach, Victor Cole for Welfare, and Tejan Fredrick Fatorma for Media. The SLFA Executive Committee believes this highly qualified technical team will provide the necessary leadership and support to help the young athletes excel in the WAFU U20 Tournament.
The National U20 team commenced their training camp on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. A series of intensive training sessions and friendly matches have been planned to ensure optimal preparation for the tournament.
