SLIFA FC Fight Back to Beat Freetown City FC 2-1

SLIFA FC came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Freetown City FC on Wednesday in a closely contested match.

Freetown City FC took an early lead in the 8th minute through Yankuba Koroma, who capitalized on a goalkeeping error. SLIFA FC responded before halftime, with Ibrahim Sesay equalizing in the 40th minute.

The decisive moment came in the 65th minute when Alimamy S. Kamara scored the winner, sealing all three points for SLIFA FC.

Despite ending on the losing side, Koroma was named Man of the Match for his impressive performance. The victory lifts SLIFA FC to 25 points after 23 games, while Freetown City FC remains in the relegation zone.
