Star Sport Academy Signs 7 Players for New Premier League Season
As the 2024-2025 Sierra Leone Premier League season nears, newly promoted Star Sport Academy has strengthened its squad with seven new youth signings, including three international players.
Key additions include goalkeeper Mohamed Sam from Guinea’s Hafia FC and midfielders Jean Valdez Diabate (Don-off Attiegouakro, Ivory Coast) and James Kai Yamba (SLIFA), along with Momoh Conteh from Diamond Stars.
Defensive reinforcements feature Congolese national Chris Mbede Sandja from Aigle Noir C.S., with Mohamed Chernor Jalloh (Kholifa FC) and Mamady Koroma (Bilima Foot Academie, Guinea) completing the lineup. The foreign talents were scouted by agents Peter Smith and Bevan Dicks, as part of a carefully crafted recruitment strategy.
