New National Chairman Appointed for Sierra Leone Renaissance Movement
The Renaissance Movement Sierra Leone has elected Mustapha Momoh as its new National Chairman.
Momoh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and another in Law from the University of Sierra Leone. He has held several positions in the media and is currently the Managing Editor of the Intern Newspaper, one of the fastest-growing newspapers in Sierra Leone. His extensive experience in both communication and law is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the movement’s leadership.
The Renaissance Movement is a civil society organization in Sierra Leone, dedicated to reinventing and repositioning the country. Founded in 2013, the movement aims to foster a rebirth in every facet of society. Its initiatives focus on promoting good governance, social justice, and economic development. Over the years, the organization has gained significant support and recognition for its efforts to drive positive change in Sierra Leone.
One of the founding members of the Renaissance Movement, Lawyer Augustine Sorie-Sengbe Marrah, had previously resigned from the movement. Marrah played a crucial role in establishing the organization’s vision and objectives. Despite his departure, the movement continues to grow and evolve, with new leaders like Momoh stepping up to continue its mission.
